Our methodology
The People Element’s methodology is based on impact learning, which ensures that all of our people offerings include aspects beyond the standard, traditional training approach. We believe very strongly in the benefits of experiential learning processes, which frame all content within the relevant work context. We believe that the only way to truly create change in the way people behave is to first understand the way they think about themselves, others, and the environment in which they work. As such, all of our interventions include psychological frameworks, body language, and people dynamics on top of providing practical skills.
We focus on all of the elements of the individuals that we work with so ensuring that our programmes form part of a life-long learning process. Everyone has many different roles in their lives – employee, employer, colleague, peer, friend, husband, wife, brother, sister etc. The roles we all perform on a daily basis can be endless and our interventions assist individuals in gaining the skills and behavioural elements necessary for effective interaction in all of these roles. Therefore, the skills and tools people gain are not only immediately applicable and relevant to the particular work context, but can be carried over to all areas of their lives.
The People Element uses a number of frameworks within a training and workshop environment to focus on the concept of Interactional Fluency i.e. ensuring that our participants are skilled in handling any form of interaction with ease. These include:

Each one of our programmes and workshops is designed using one or more of the above frameworks and further developed within the specific context in which the intervention is required, and around the requirements of the participants themselves. This is done through careful collaboration with the relevant stake holders (HR, Team Managers, etc).
